US Student Visa (F-1 Visa)
International students must apply for an F-1 visa to study in the United States. This visa allows students to pursue academic programs at accredited US institutions.
Work Opportunities
Students on an F-1 visa can work:
- Up to 20 hours per week on campus during studies
- Full-time during holidays or breaks
- After completing their degree, students may apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT)
Post-Study Work (OPT)
OPT allows international graduates to work in the US after completing their studies:
- 12 months of work authorization
- STEM graduates may receive an additional 24-month extension
